Basics
Ranking will only apply to official WAKO categories.
Ranking points will always round up or down to a maximum of 2 decimal numbers.
Ranking decay (2 Year Cycle): Each Year (from the day the competitor received the ranking points of an event) on a rolling basis for a period of 24 months.
Ranking points will be applied only to events that use the Official WAKO scoring system ( Sportdata).
An event may also be removed from the ranking status with executive committee decision if none of the WAKO level requirements are met.
Ranking Points Base Values
• 1st place: 120 points
• 2nd place: 90 points
• 3rd/4th place: 60 points
• 5th/6th place: 30 points
• Fight Won: 10 points / per fight won
• Participation: 4 points
Ranked Championship Values (Event Factor)
The base values will be multiplied with the Event Factor to have the final ranking points.
• 12 WAKO World Championship
• 10 Invitational Evenets(World Games, Combat Games, ...)
• 9 WAKO European Championship
• 6 WAKO Continental Championship
• 6 Kickboxing World Series
